2015 Ford Escort is a compact car designed and produced for the Chinese market so far. It has been conceptualized by Australian designers and Ford engineers in Nanjing with focus on the requirements and likings of the contemporary Chinese families. It will compete with Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla.

The car is covered with smooth curvy lines from front to back. A unique appearance has been lent by semi-stretched headlights and soft-looking taillights in Baby Fusion pattern. A noticeable feature is the shifting of the A pillars a bit further towards the back. Firstly, it helps the dashboard to be distanced from the front axle. Consequently, the front cabin becomes more elongated giving a stretched appearance to the front of the auto. Secondly, it caters to the preference of the usual drivers and passengers in China. It has been found that Chinese people love cars that have stretched fronts because it provides an air of luxury and wealth subtly. Moreover, the front trapezoidal grille have been redesigned a bit and installed at an elevated position in the front. The 18-inch chrome wheels and front LED lights in blinged-out pattern make the car look very elegant.
Classiness is visible inside this four-door machine as well. The décor is complete with the use of high-quality material and texture. The feel of being in an Escort has been maintained very well. It is very spacious for the passengers and hence, sufficient leg movement is possible. The front seats have strong cushion bolsters making them very comfortable. The rear seat passengers have the facility of charging devices with the 12-volt charger. A 5-volt USB charger is also there in the tool panel. The instrument panel has a wraparound look.
Engine and Mileage of 2015 Ford Escort
An option of two 4-cylinder gasoline engines is there. The 1.3 liter engine can generate up to 123 horsepower and the 1.5 liter one will raise up to 177 horsepower. The engines are integrated with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Mileage for the US roads is not yet available.
Price and Release Date
The vehicle is expected to fetch around $20,000. It will be released first in Asia anytime in 2015. However, the date of release in the US is not yet confirmed.
The car marks the resurrection of Escort and for the present, is available in the Chinese market. The exterior boasts very stylish, curvy, conspicuous silhouette while the interior is classy and very roomy. 2015 Ford Escort offers the look and feel of a luxury sedan without any pompousness.
